Material & Care

Is the paper waterproof?
Our washable paper is water resistant and can be cleaned with water, but it is not intended to hold standing water directly.

Is the paper durable?
Yes. The treated fibers make it behave more like a textile than ordinary paper.

How do I wash it?
Hand wash in warm water with mild soap or detergent and reshape before drying. Avoid washing leather sections directly.

How do I clean it?
Start with spot cleaning. For light marks, try a clean pencil eraser first. For heavier marks, use soaking, spot cleaning, or dry cleaning as appropriate.

Will the paper soften with wear?
Yes. Like leather, it softens and develops more character over time.

Will metallic paper peel?
No. It may distress slightly with wear, but it is not intended to peel.
